2016-12-02 13:33:41W nocy z 1 na 2 grudnia, w Los Angeles rozdano The Game Awards, jedne z najważniejszych nagród w branży gier wideo. Overwatch została wybrana najlepszą grą roku (łącznie firma Blizzard zdobyła aż 4 statuetki), a Wiedźmin 3: Krew i Wino, został wybrany najlepszą grą RPG.
W trakcie The Game Awards rozdano ponad 20 nagród w różnych kategoriach. Największym zwycięzcą okazała się firma Blizzard. Poza nagrodą dla najlepszego studia, stworzona przez nie gra Overwatch zdobyła 3 nagrody, w tym najbardziej prestiżową - tytuł najlepszej gry roku. Overwatch wyróżniono również za najlepszy tryb wieloosobowy oraz najlepszą grę e-sportową.
W kategorii najlepsza gra RPG roku zwyciężyło Krew i Wino - dodatek do gry Wiedźmin 3: Dziki Gon od firmy CD PROJEKT RED.
